Emilie Lefebvre

Emilie Lefebvre writes about rough sex. She tries to write sweet stories but they always end up with a rough and reluctant edge, and she’s pretty sure it has to do with growing up in a military family that moved every three or four years. More accurately, she’s pretty sure constant exposure to rough and tumble men during her formative years killed a great deal of her desire for romance and replaced it with an overpowering need for intensity and powerful experiences. She’s a bit of daredevil and has tried skydiving, paragliding, speedboat racing, and storm chasing. “To me,” she says, “Sex is best when it’s out of control and a girl can lose herself in everything that’s happening.” Just a few paragraphs in to any of her stories makes that aspect of her personality clear. She lives in Southern California on a famous beach, and if you happen to frequent that region, you might just have seen her wearing next to nothing and carrying her surf board.
