Amelie Jacques spent the first nine years of her life in southern France, the daughter of a French cook and a U.S. diplomat. She arrived in the United States just in time for sixth grade and found herself attracted to writing immediately. As she grew, however, she found her writing tended toward mature subjects and themes and by the time she got to college her stories and novels all came with an erotic edge. While she primarily focuses on erotic thrillers usually set at the turn of the 20th Century, there’s nothing she loves more than writing intense and sexy fantasies in short story format. With characters drawn with just as many fine strokes as bold, she strikes a perfect balance between believability and raw fantasy. She lives with her two dogs, Mist and Rain on the shores of Lake Michigan.
